Job Description:
To provide HR leadership and consultation to assigned organizations on the strategic and people-related issues impacting organizational performance.
Leads efforts within assigned organizations in the following areas: Organization change interventions, Leadership identification/coaching, and Organizational performance management. Brokers HR services to COEs in support of the strategic plan. Will be involved as lead or team member on 3M HR programs or projects.
- Provides day to day guidance on moderately complex to complex, and non-routine difficult inquiries, on talent-related matters within assigned business groups or workstreams, e.g. organization change interventions, leadership identification/coaching, and organizational performance management;
- With guidance and approval from management, develops and leads improvements on assigned businesses overall talent strategy (i.e. regulatory requirements, career development, counselling, labor relations);
- Drives thought-leadership to improve operations and performance, applying trends and metrics in partnership with HR COEs and HR Services to develop solutions, processes and programs;
- Brokers some HR services to COEs in support of the strategic plan. Will be involved as lead or team member on 3M HR programs or projects;
- Work tasks are likely to encompass concepts within multiple disciplines/practices which may include more than one department/location. Working tasks might include:
- Conducts new leader assimilation and local new leader orientations.
- Answers moderately complex and diverse compensation-related questions.
- Provides advice and instruction regarding policy and procedural inquiries.
- Writes and updates HR or employee policies, standards and procedures.
- Develops and administers employee experience programs while maintaining and/or adjusting existing programs as needed.
- Exercises discretion in matters of confidentiality, including employee feedback initiatives (e.g. 3M Survey, New Hire Feedback, Exit Interviews, Focus Group Discussions, external surveys (ex. GPTW, Investors in People) and special projects – i.e. Disciplinary Actions, Ethics Point resolutions, among others.
- Regulatory reporting and requirements for Company’s compliance (e.g. immigration, BIR, NSA headcount and compensation reports, DOLE reporting & conferences).
- Protects the corporation and assures 3M values and policies are upheld and complied with.
- Ensures 3M processes are implemented as appropriate.
- Upholds compliance with 3M Business Conduct Policies and other policies, educates others and acts as an example of uncompromising ethics.
- Ensures local legislation compliance to at all times.
- Primary contacts are typically internal and on a managerial, professional, supervisory, or co-worker level.
- Other duties that may be assigned.
Qualifications:
- A college/university degree
- Seven (7) years relevant working experience preferably as HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, Employee Relations or in an E2E HR account management model
- Knowledge in local employment and practices
- Exercises a high degree of professionalism and diplomacy in interactions with all levels of the organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate in a multiculture environment
- Strong project management skills and a proven interest to learn new technologies
