Job summary

Wahl Clipper Corporation is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator in Sterling, IL to deliver HR services across the organization. The role covers recruiting, onboarding, HRIS, documentation, and program administration to ensure an accurate and confidential employee experience.

You will support daily HR operations, maintain records, and assist with hourly recruitment activities, onboarding, and HR communications, while upholding operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in HR, business, or related field is required; bachelor's preferred.
• Progressively responsible HR Operations/Administration experience (3–5 years).
• Working knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment practices.
• Knowledge of HRIS and data management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR Operations contact for employees and managers.
• Handle confidential employee information with discretion and professionalism.
• Support daily HR operations including hiring, onboarding, transfers, and separations.
• Prepare HR correspondence and employment documentation.
• Maintain accurate HR records in the HRIS and ensure timely processing.
• Audit data for accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Generate routine HR reports, dashboards, and metrics.
• Coordinate hourly recruitment activities and onboarding for new hires.
• Administer HR programs such as recognition, tuition reimbursement, and wellness.
• Coordinate HR communications and distribute information across the organization.
• Support audits and continuous improvement of HR processes.
