Job summary

American Furniture Warehouse is seeking an HR Coordinator to support the HR department in data entry, admin tasks, and recruitment activities at our Gilbert, AZ location. The role includes maintaining HR files, handling pre-employment tasks, and responding to HR requests with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

The position runs Monday–Friday onsite. AFW offers a comprehensive benefits package, weekly pay, paid time off, tuition assistance, and 401k matching.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Human Resources, including employee relations, benefits, leave of absences, policies, programs, and employment laws.
• Two-year college or university program degree preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with HRIS/HCM Oracle or similar software is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist HR Generalist, retail, and warehouse management with onboarding/offboarding tasks and background checks.
• Help oversee talent acquisition activities, including job posting and interviewing with managers.
• Provide high level customer service to internal and external customers.
• Support HR processes across various software platforms to ensure data accuracy.
• Participate in system upgrades and rollout of new features.
