Job summary

Pave Talent is hiring on behalf of a large professional services firm to lead the HR Operations Hub in Tampa. This hands-on role will manage a six-person HR operations team across the Tampa office and two additional locations, ensuring daily HR activities stay compliant and efficient.

You will own Workday transactions, onboarding/offboarding, background checks, I-9 processing, EEO-1 filings, and HRIS data integrity, while guiding managers through sensitive HR matters and driving process

Qualifications

• Minimum 10–15 years of progressive HR experience with hands-on scope.
• Experience supervising or leading a team in a corporate HR setting.
• Strong knowledge of Workday, HRIS platforms, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a six-person HR Operations team across Tampa operations and two other offices.
• Own Workday transactions, onboarding, offboarding, and timecard administration.
• Manage I-9 processing and coordinate with immigration counsel as needed.
• Prepare and review EEO-1 filings and other regulatory reports.
• Audit HRIS data for accuracy and compliance.
• Guide managers and employees through sensitive HR matters with sound judgment.
• Design and deliver training on HR policies, procedures, and compliance topics.
• Drive process improvements and digital transformation projects.
