Job summary

The Quincy Institute in Washington, DC seeks an experienced HR Operations Manager to build and run HR programs with a PEO (Trinet). You will support a 40+ person staff in recruiting, onboarding, compliance, training, and employee relations while developing internal processes and documentation.

This role reports to the Director of Operations and is based in-office. Responsibilities include talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, HRIS/payroll tasks, and benefits

Qualifications

• Experience responsible for HR or high-level administration in mid-size orgs.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, compliance, and employee relations.
• Demonstrated ability to implement processes and improve documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead Talent Acquisition using Lever; coordinate job processes and interviews.
• Oversee onboarding/offboarding with Trinet and IT systems, in-person and remote.
• Manage employee relations, training needs, and compliance records.
• Guide performance reviews and coach managers on feedback.
• Develop HR policies and align HR strategy with organizational goals.
• Analyze data from HRIS/PEO to optimize tools and payroll tasks.
• Lead Benefits Open Enrollment and Retirement Planning rollout.
