Job summary

The Quincy Institute seeks an experienced HR Operations Manager to build and run daily HR functions in collaboration with a PEO (Trinet). The role supports 40+ staff, guiding recruiting, onboarding, compliance, training, and employee relations from the Washington, DC office.

The ideal candidate will balance operational excellence with strategic foresight, maintaining confidential personnel matters and driving HR initiatives aligned to organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or related field; 5+ years in HR/administration.
• Experience with Trinet, Google Workspace, and Lever is highly preferred.
• Strong communication, data sensitivity, and policy development skills.
• Ability to handle complex employee relations with integrity and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, benefits, and payroll coordination.
• Manage talent acquisition through Lever and oversee onboarding/offboarding processes.
• Develop and enforce HR policies; ensure compliance and accurate records.
• Lead performance reviews, employee relations, and investigations when needed.
• Coordinate HRIS data analysis and benefits enrollment with the PEO.
