Job summary

M2 Ingredients is seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager to drive day-to-day people operations from payroll and HRIS to benefits, leaves, and compliance. You will partner with the Senior Director of HR and support managers across the organization while solving problems and improving processes.

You’ll manage payroll integrity, employee records, and benefits programs, while handling employment law issues, investigations, and performance management in a manufacturing environment in California.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of progressive HR operations experience.
• PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRMSCP certification preferred.
• Experience with payroll, HRIS, benefits, leaves, and workers' compensation.
• Comfort supporting both hourly and salaried employees.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
• Office and manufacturing environment experience; confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Administer payroll, timekeeping, and HRIS data.
• Maintain benefits programs and COBRA coordination.
• Manage leaves of absence and return-to-work processes.
• Oversee workers' compensation claims and safety compliance.
• Provide day-to-day HR guidance to managers and staff.
• Oversee performance management and employee relations.
• Monitor compliance and HR records across systems.
