Job summary

Studs is seeking a Junior HR Generalist to support People operations across studios and HQ in New York. This role handles onboarding, records, benefits, compliance, and routine employee inquiries, using established policies and templates.

You will be the first point of contact, escalate when needed, maintain files, and assist with HR programs and office operations. This position offers growth in a fast-growing retail brand and requires 1–2 years of HR experience and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in HR, People Operations, or HR administration.
• Experience supporting onboarding, employee changes, records management, benefits administration, or compliance documentation.
• Familiarity with core HR practices and multi-location requirements; willingness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Own the People Service Center queue and respond to routine HR questions from employees and managers.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding for studio and HQ employees, ensuring documents and steps are completed.
• Support benefits administration with our partner, including enrollments and life events.
• Maintain confidential employee records and HRIS data, conduct audits, and ensure accuracy.
• Support HQ office operations, events, and safety coordination.
