Job summary

Sint Maarten Government is seeking an experienced Personnel Officer to provide HR guidance to ministries, maintain employee records, and support proper planning and execution of HR matters across departments.

The role requires an Associate's degree in HR, legal support or labor, fluent Dutch and English, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a client‑oriented, detail‑driven mindset. Compensation ranges from Cg 3,006.00 to Cg 5,746.00.

Responsibilities

• Providing support and advice to ministries on HR topics
• Recording and maintaining employee information in the personnel information system
• Providing information about P&O regulations to employees
• Processing pension requests, medical examinations, SZV registrations, etc.
• Reviewing requests for policy applications and ensuring correct execution
• Supporting the Personnel Advisor and jointly handling HR matters for ministries/departments
