Job summary

Black Box Network Services seeks an HR Onboarding Coordinator to lead workforce mobilization and onboarding for employees, contractors, subcontractors, and temporary workers supporting data center construction operations at a Holly Ridge site in Louisiana.

You will manage end-to-end onboarding, site access, background checks, I-9 verification, training coordination, and compliance reporting to ensure a seamless and compliant onboarding experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 5-7 years HR and onboarding experience in construction or manufacturing
• HR certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end onboarding for all new hires and contractors.
• Coordinate workforce ramp-up activities during project phases.
• Track onboarding schedules and hiring forecasts.
• Oversee background checks, drug screenings, I-9 verification, and onboarding documentation.
• Verify certifications, licenses, and training credentials.
• Coordinate site badging and access requirements.
• Ensure compliance with security protocols and site-specific requirements.
• Facilitate new hire orientation and safety training coordination.
• Maintain onboarding records and prepare audit reports.
• Monitor onboarding KPIs like completion rates and time-to-productivity.

Position Summary

The HR Onboarding Coordinator leads all workforce mobilization and onboarding activities for employees, contractors, subcontractors, and temporary workers supporting data center construction operations. This role ensures a seamless, compliant, and efficient onboarding experience while maintaining site access and workforce readiness requirements.

Position Details:

Hourly position based upon experience & skill level

Contract with possible contract extension or hire

Standard work hours: Mon-Fri 7:00am-4:00pm (Saturdays when needed)

Location: Customer Site - Holly Ridge, LA 71269

Key Responsibilities

Workforce Mobilization

• Manage end-to-end onboarding for all new hires and contractors.
• Coordinate workforce ramp-up activities during project phases.
• Track onboarding schedules and hiring forecasts.

Pre-Employment Processes

• Oversee background checks, drug screenings, I-9 verification, and employment documentation.
• Ensure completion of all required onboarding paperwork.
• Verify certifications, licenses, and training credentials.

Site Access & Credentialing

• Coordinate site badging and access requirements.
• Manage workforce credentialing processes.
• Ensure compliance with security protocols and site-specific requirements.

Orientation & Training

• Facilitate new hire orientation programs.
• Coordinate safety training and compliance certifications.
• Partner with EHS and Operations teams to ensure workforce readiness.

Compliance & Audit Management

• Maintain onboarding records and compliance documentation.
• Prepare onboarding audit reports.
• Monitor onboarding KPIs including completion rates and time-to-productivity.

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required, Bachelors Degree in Administrative or Human Resource major preferred
• 5-7 Years HR and Onboarding experience in a construction or manufacturing industry
• Self starter with a drive for continual learning
• Drive to take initiative
• HR Certifications preferred
