Job summary

NKU Beta Gamma Sigma is seeking an HR Coordinator to join our team in Highland Heights. This entry-level role provides hands-on experience with HR operations, Workday, and employee support to help keep university processes running smoothly.

Ideal candidates are recent graduates who enjoy people, problem solving, and getting the details right. Responsibilities include processing HR transactions, helping with questions and documentation, and supporting payroll and records while maintaining

Ability to handle confidential information with care and sound judgment.
Willingness to learn HR procedures, requirements, and technology.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Excel.

Responsibilities

Process HR transactions in Workday, including hires, additional jobs, separations, and pay changes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
Help employees and departments navigate HR questions, tuition waivers, and employment documentation.
Complete employment verifications, including student loan forgiveness certifications and unemployment documentation.
Assist employees with Form I-9 requirements and recordkeeping.
Review data in preparation for payroll, help resolve discrepancies, and follow up on pending Workday tasks.
Support daily HR operations and team projects.
