Job summary

Summit Fire & Security is seeking an HR Administrator to provide essential HR operations support, focusing on onboarding and HR Helpdesk maintenance. You will input and verify employee data in the HRIS, collaborate with Payroll, and ensure accurate data flows for payroll and reporting.

The role involves maintaining the HR Helpdesk, responding to inquiries, and protecting sensitive information per HIPAA and company policies while supporting benefits, personnel changes, and risk management

Qualifications

• 2 years in HR roles (Assistant/Generalist) or equivalent
• 2 years of professional computer skills required
• 2 years of construction industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding, including audit of pre-employment items and data entry in HRIS
• Maintain HR Helpdesk, dispatch inquiries to SMEs and ensure timely responses
• Maintain confidentiality of employee records in line with HIPAA and company policy
• Assist benefits administration, payroll accuracy, and personnel changes
• Prepare employee data reports (turnover, census, EEO) and provide findings to HR Manager
• Support risk management and safety program administration with region-specific needs
