Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and/or experience, plus three years of related experience in the healthcare setting. HR Certification preferred.
• The ability to communicate and interact effectively with personnel at all levels of the organization is essential. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills both oral and written.
• Consistently displays the highest degree of integrity, professionalism, diplomacy, and discretion. Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) required.
• Requires demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently, as well as ability to work well under pressure and prioritize in a deadline driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide general support to the PAGNY site office and providers and serve as the initial HR contact.
• Lead onboarding of new hires in collaboration with recruiting specialists and hiring managers; maintain onboarding trackers.
• Track new hires and ensure HRIS records and related documents are up to date.
• Maintain relationships with providers and staff; attend site committee meetings when necessary.
• Lead new hire orientation; guide timesheet processing, benefits, CME, payroll and holiday calendars.
• Manage all HRIS transactions and coordinate with corporate and NYC Health + Hospitals approvers for escalated issues.
• Build and maintain relationships with site leadership, MSO, OHS, HR partners, Chiefs/Chairs; participate in site committees as needed.
• Handle routine labor relations inquiries and escalate complex matters to Labor and Employee Relations.
