Levy, part of Compass Group USA, seeks an HR Manager to support food and beverage operations at Intuit Dome and Kia Forum. You will manage employee relations, investigations, payroll-related concerns, and recruitment for a large hourly workforce in a fast-paced union setting.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to partner with venue leadership to uphold policies and ensure compliant labor practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred
• Three to five years of progressive HR experience
• Union and labor-relations experience strongly preferred
• Experience with large hourly, part-time, seasonal, or event-based workforce
• Knowledge of California employment practices and wage-and-hour requirements
• Proficiency with HR, payroll, scheduling, or timekeeping systems
• PHR/SHRM certifications preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Serve as HR partner to food and beverage leaders at both venues.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, attendance, conduct, performance, and policies.
• Interpret and administer collective bargaining agreements with Director of HR.
• Support grievances, union meetings, information requests, and labor matters.
• Maintain relationships with employees, managers, union reps, and stewards.
• Conduct workplace investigations and document findings clearly.
• Review disciplinary actions for accuracy and consistency.
• Support high-volume recruiting, onboarding, and event staffing.
• Coach managers on performance, development, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and collective bargaining agreements.
• Monitor timekeeping, attendance, payroll concerns, and wage-and-hour practices.
• Assist with leaves, accommodations, and workers’ comp matters.
• Maintain confidential employee records and HR metrics.
• Support employee engagement, recognition, and inclusion initiatives.
