Job summary

US Foods is seeking an HR Manager to partner with the Area Director of HR, driving a safe, inclusive culture and ensuring talent alignment with business goals. You will lead recruitment, policy interpretation, employee relations, performance management, and training while supporting union-related activities and labor negotiations.

This role requires travel to Salem (MO) and Offsite Metro locations 2x per month.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years HR experience with at least 4 in a professional role.
• Experience advising management teams and interpreting company policies.
• Knowledge of ADA, FMLA, EEOC, FLSA, Title VII and related laws.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment, staffing, onboarding, and retention strategies.
• Lead investigations and support labor relations and union relations.
• Advise leaders on policy application and consistent interpretation.
• Develop and deliver training, orientation, and leader development.
• Drive safety culture and associate engagement across the market.
• Coordinate leave administration and ADA interactive process.
• Prepare for labor negotiations and collaborate with Compliance and Legal.
