Job summary

Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC has a major corporation in the Knoxville area seeking an HR Manager for the Trucking/Transportation division. The role will oversee two HR Generalists/Recruiters and coordinate driver-related programs and compliance.

You will lead efforts on driver background checks, pre-employment medical screenings, DOT physicals, and interviewing, hiring, and onboarding drivers, while developing and maintaining benefits and retention programs.

Qualifications

• BS degree required.
• PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
• Experience with FMCSA Compliance and Driver Qualification files is required.
• Experience in the Trucking/Transportation industry or related Logistics field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate driver background checks.
• Coordinate pre-employment medical screenings.
• Coordinate DOT physicals.
• Lead two HR Generalists / Recruiters.
• Interview, hire, and onboard new drivers.
• Maintain and develop employee benefits programs focusing on retention and training.
