Job summary

Elderwood at Amherst is seeking a Human Resources Manager to oversee HR administration, recruitment, onboarding, onboarding, payroll, and compliance for the site. The role includes partnering with an on-site Recruiting Coordinator to fulfill critical recruitment functions.

The ideal candidate has HR leadership experience, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to learn HRIS and talent management systems quickly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.
• PHR certification preferred.
• Minimum five years of experience in a Human Resources management role.
• Demonstrable knowledge in state & federal labor laws, FMLA, OSHA, & COBRA.
• Must have prior recruitment and employee onboarding experience.
• Prior Payroll And Benefits Experience Strongly Preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, highly organized, detail oriented, and quality focused.

Responsibilities

• Manage HR administration and execution for the site.
• Oversee recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, performance management, payroll, and HR systems.
• Maintain staff personnel records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate benefits, payroll inquiries, and HRIS maintenance.
• Support HR initiatives, policies, and employee development.
