Overview

Human Resources Manager

Elderwood Administrative Services (Corporate Office)
Supporting Multiple Business Lines

Corporate HR Leadership - Hands-On, High Impact.

Elderwood Administrative Services (EAS) is seeking an experienced and highly capable Human Resources Manager to support multiple business lines across our organization, including Elderwood Administrative Services, Elderwood IPA, and Woodmark Pharmacy.

This is a corporate HR role, not a single-facility position. The HR Manager serves as a trusted partner to leadership across business lines while also owning the day-to-day execution of HR operations. This role is ideal for a seasoned HR professional who is both strategic in thinking and hands-on in execution - someone who understands that strong HR starts with systems, accuracy, compliance, and follow-through.

The Role.

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the full scope of HR administration and execution across assigned corporate and affiliated entities. This includes onboarding, employee relations, compliance, payroll and benefits administration, performance management, and systems maintenance. You will work closely with business line leadership, managers, and employees - building credibility quickly, making a strong professional impression, and ensuring HR processes are clear, compliant, and effective.

This role requires high attention to detail, comfort with systems and manual processes, and the ability to prioritize and self-manage in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.

Who Thrives in This Role.
  • HR professionals who like being in the work, not just advising from a distance
  • Individuals who take pride in accuracy, follow-through, and process discipline
  • Professionals who can balance corporate professionalism with approachability
  • HR leaders who want to make a visible impact across multiple business lines
Why Elderwood Administrative Services:
  • A mission-driven organization supporting diverse healthcare and administrative operations
  • Exposure to multiple business lines and leadership teams
  • Opportunity to shape and strengthen HR operations at the corporate level
  • A role with real responsibility, visibility, and influence
Responsibilities

Human Resources Manager - What You’ll Do:

Corporate HR Operations & Administration
  • Execute and manage core HR processes across multiple business lines
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation in HRIS, ATS, LMS, and timekeeping systems
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal labor laws, including FMLA, OSHA, COBRA, and wage & hour requirements
  • Own onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring consistency, compliance, and a positive employee experience
Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Manage end-to-end recruiting and onboarding for assigned business lines
  • Partner with leadership to understand staffing needs and hiring priorities
  • Ensure timely processing of offers, pre-employment requirements, and new hire orientation
  • Track open positions, reporting, referrals, and recruitment activity
Payroll, Benefits & Leave Administration
  • Oversee accurate data entry and maintenance in HRIS and time & attendance systems
  • Review timecards, assist with payroll accuracy, and resolve employee inquiries
  • Support benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations
  • Coordinate and track leaves of absence, ensuring FMLA and regulatory compliance
Employee Relations & Performance Management
  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee concerns, questions, and policy interpretation
  • Support leaders with corrective action, performance management, and documentation
  • Maintain disciplinary logs and ensure consistent application of policies
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze trends to support retention efforts
Compliance, Systems & Process Improvement
  • Ensure all licensure, certifications, medical clearances, and regulatory documentation are maintained
  • Represent the organization in unemployment and workers’ compensation matters as needed
  • Maintain and improve HR systems and workflows to support an efficient, employee-friendly experience
  • Partner with leadership on HR initiatives, audits, reporting, and continuous improvement
Qualifications

Human Resources Manager - What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field OR equivalent HR management experience
  • PHR preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law, compliance, payroll, benefits, and HR operations
  • Proven experience with recruiting and onboarding in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior payroll and benefits administration experience strongly preferred
  • High proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office
  • Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities
  • Strong communicator who can engage confidently with leadership and employees
  • Comfortable working autonomously and owning outcomes
