Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field; PHR preferred.
• Five years of experience in a Human Resources management role and knowledge of state & federal labor laws.
• Prior recruitment and employee onboarding experience.
• Payroll and benefits experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; highly organized, detail oriented and quality focused.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to self-manage in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment: sourcing, interviewing, onboarding via ATS and weekly open positions reports.
• Onboarding & Training: new hire paperwork, orientations, and benefit eligibility explanations.
• Administrative: regulatory docs, personnel records, terminations, and HR policy administration.
• Payroll & Benefits: data entry in ADP HRIS, timecards review, benefit/payroll inquiries.
• Unemployment & Workers’ Comp: respond to claims, attend hearings, OSHA log upkeep.
• Employee Relations: policy application, disciplinary actions, recognition programs, performance management.
• General: oversee HR initiatives, drive culture, HRIS maintenance, compliance with HIPAA policies.
