Amcor is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the HR Support Team at our Monroeville plant in Ohio. You will be responsible for employee relations, safety leadership, benefits administration, staffing, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

Formación

• 5–7 years of HR experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, or HR Management.
• SHRM PHR or SPHR certification is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of employment laws.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsabilidades

• Directs activities of the HR Support Team (generalist/assistant).
• Champions safety and leads safety-related communications.
• Provides professional support to all departments, advocating for safety and quality.
• Manages employee relations including development, engagement, performance, and succession planning.
• Conducts investigations of workplace violations.
• Oversees disciplinary actions up to suspension or termination.
• Manages benefits administration, wage scales, leaves, and open enrollment.
• Responsible for plant staffing to meet production orders and customer demands.
• Oversees unemployment claim administration and reporting.
• Assists in training and development needs across levels.
• Manages employee engagement activities and community involvement.
• Networks with Regional HR Team and shares best practices.
• Mentors and provides HR support to other plants.
• Collaborates with leadership on strategic goals and organizational change.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Plant Manager; ensures compliance with laws and guidelines.
