Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in business, Human Resources or related field
• Minimum 5 years of HR and employee relations experience
• 1 2 years of team leadership experience preferred
• Experience in manufacturing HR; union environment preferred
• Experience handling confidential information
• Experience conducting first-line and management training
• Ability to interact with all levels of employees and be approachable

Responsibilities

• Lead a plant HR team to meet HR needs for the facility
• Drive continuous improvement of HR processes and systems
• Develop and facilitate strategic plans with plant leadership
• Ensure compliance with state and federal employment regulations
• Conduct employee relations investigations and recommend actions
• Coach managers on development, performance and engagement
• Partner with safety and Shared Services teams as needed
• Interview and assist with internal and external staffing
• Spend significant time in production areas
