Job summary

Aramark is seeking an Human Resources Manager for the DC Convention Center to provide HR generalist support and administer key HR processes. The role reports to Aramark Sports + Entertainment in DC and involves engagement, recruitment, onboarding, and policy interpretation.

The position requires at least 5–7 years in HR, a relevant bachelor's degree, and strong communication with management. Salaried compensation ranges from $80,000 to $90,000 with benefits including medical, dental, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• HR/SPHR certification preferred; Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications required.
• HR planning and organizational development experience desired.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources.
• Employment relations experience including investigations and resolution development required.
• Proven ability to interact with multiple levels of management on a routine basis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to train and make presentations.

Responsibilities

• Issue resolution, follow up and recommendations for corporate COE’s including but not limited to: Hotline calls response, investigation and follow, Corrective action/performance management consulting, and Policy interpretation
• Employee Engagement Initiatives – Engagement Action Plan development and follow-up, corporate engagement and celebration activities point of contact/coordinator
• Talent Acquisition – corporate Accelerate to Leadership and Step up to Leadershippoint of contact
• HR metrics reporting and analysis
• Benefits and Payroll assistance as needed
• On-boarding programs and initiatives
