About the Opportunity

Our client is a long-standing manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations for a key production facility. This position serves as a strategic business partner to site leadership and will play a key role in employee relations, labor relations, culture development, talent acquisition, compliance, and organizational effectiveness.

What You’ll Do

• Lead all HR activities for a unionized manufacturing facility
• Partner with operational leadership to drive workforce initiatives
• Manage employee and labor relations matters
• Interpret and administer collective bargaining agreements
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and succession planning
• Coach leaders on performance management and employee development
• Conduct investigations and ensure employment law compliance
• Utilize HR technology, reporting, and analytics to improve decision-making
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 5+ years of HR leadership experience
• Manufacturing or industrial HR background strongly preferred
• Union labor relations experience required
• Experience supporting both union and non-union employees
• Strong employee relations and leadership coaching capabilities
• HRIS and HR technology proficiency
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Compensation & Benefits
