• Handle unemployment claims, appeals, hearings, and other employment-related matters.
• Provide guidance on sensitive employee relations situations under California employment law.
• Ensure compliance with labor regulations, reporting requirements, and policies.
• Support talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, employee engagement, and workforce planning.
• Review and interpret employment laws to provide compliant guidance to leadership and staff.
• Utilize HR metrics to identify trends and provide strategic recommendations.

Our client, a well-established nonprofit organization serving the community throughout Santa Clara County, is seeking an HR professional who excels in employee relations, investigations, compliance, and employment law. This is a supervisory position that offers a unique opportunity to lead and develop the HR function while serving as a strategic partner to organizational leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Salary and Benefits
