Job summary

Veritas Search Group seeks an experienced Human Resources Manager for an on-site role near Irvine, CA, to lead HR across a growing manufacturing organization. You will partner with senior leadership to recruit qualified talent, strengthen engagement, ensure legal compliance, and develop scalable HR systems and processes.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HR, strong knowledge of employment laws, and experience with multi-shift operations. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of human resources experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of state and federal employment laws.
  • Experience in recruiting, employee relations, workplace investigations, benefits administration, and HRIS management.
  • Experience supporting multi-shift operations preferred.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer preparation, and onboarding.
  • Develop cost-effective recruiting strategies for manufacturing, technical, and professional positions.
  • Manage staffing agency relationships and monitor recruiting metrics.
  • Ensure hiring practices comply with applicable state and federal employment laws.
  • Serve as the primary HR resource for employee concerns across multiple departments and shifts.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
  • Coach managers on performance management, employee documentation, and corrective action procedures.
  • Promote a respectful, engaged, inclusive, and accountable workplace culture.
  • Administer employee benefits, leave programs, workers’ compensation, HRIS systems, and personnel records.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and organizational quality-system requirements.
  • Maintain confidential HR records and support internal and external audit readiness.
  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning, compensation, employee retention, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Support performance review processes and manager development initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR programs, processes, and employee engagement.
  • Build scalable HR infrastructure to support continued organizational growth.

Job Summary
