Job summary

The City of Citrus Heights is seeking a Management Analyst I/II (Human Resources) to join our team and support employees and the organization, with a primary focus on workers’ compensation, leave administration, safety, and employee wellness.

You’ll collaborate with employees, supervisors, managers, medical providers and HR colleagues to navigate complex situations, provide practical guidance, and help ensure a safe, compliant workplace.

Responsibilities

• Manage workers’ compensation programs and claims.
• Administer employee leaves, including FMLA, CFRA, PDL, and other protected and non-protected leaves.
• Support workplace safety and risk management, including safety programs, training, ergonomic evaluations, safety committee, OSHA recordkeeping, and related compliance activities.
• Develop and support employee wellness initiatives that promote a healthy, safe, and engaged workforce.
• Serve as a trusted HR resource by researching issues, interpreting policies and regulations, and providing practical solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, strengthen compliance, and make it easier for employees and managers to navigate HR programs.
