We are seeking an experienced HR/Leave Administration Specialist with strong hands-on experience managing both Leave of Absence (LOA) and ADA/Reasonable Accommodation cases. The ideal candidate will have HCM/HRIS experience, excellent written communication skills, and the ability to manage sensitive employee inquiries with professionalism and urgency.
Workday experience is not required. Candidates with experience in comparable HCM/HRIS platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft, or other enterprise systems are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Leave of Absence (LOA) Administration
- Manage and administer Leave of Absence (LOA) cases.
- Monitor the LOA inbox and respond to employee inquiries promptly.
- Review and resolve leave-related questions and requests.
- Provide accurate and professional guidance regarding LOA matters.
- Maintain accurate and timely LOA documentation in HR systems.
ADA / Reasonable Accommodation
- Manage ADA and Reasonable Accommodation cases.
- Monitor the Reasonable Accommodation inbox and respond to inquiries.
- Partner with employees and HR Business Partners regarding accommodation requests.
- Apply appropriate knowledge and judgment when evaluating and managing accommodation cases.
- Maintain accurate accommodation-related records and documentation.
HR Communication & Stakeholder Support
- Communicate effectively with employees and HR Business Partners (HRBPs).
- Provide timely, professional, and grammatically correct written responses.
- Manage high-priority inquiries with strong customer service and follow-through.
- Handle confidential and sensitive employee information appropriately.
- Work independently while managing multiple requests and priorities.
HR Systems & Administration
- Utilize HCM/HRIS platforms to support HR processes.
- Maintain and document LOA and accommodation information within HR systems.
- Ensure data accuracy and proper documentation of employee cases.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Leave of Absence (LOA) administration.
- Strong hands-on experience with ADA / Reasonable Accommodation administration.
- Experience in both LOA and ADA/Reasonable Accommodation is required.
- Experience working with an HCM or HRIS platform.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent grammar and professional email-writing abilities.
- Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive HR matters.
- Strong responsiveness, organization, and follow-through.
- This is an experienced-level position and is not intended for entry-level candidates.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Workday.
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors.
- Experience with PeopleSoft or other enterprise HCM/HRIS platforms.
- HR certifications.
- Healthcare industry experience.
- Experience managing complex employee leave and accommodation cases.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Candidates without a degree may be considered with 5+ years of strong, relevant experience.
- Relevant hands-on LOA and ADA/Reasonable Accommodation experience is highly valued
