Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a Learning Platform Administrator to configure and optimize a SaaS LMS environment in the US CT area. You will manage system structures, enrollments, and assessments across platforms like Cornerstone OnDemand, Degreed, or Workday, ensuring data integrity and security.

You will gather requirements from stakeholders, convert them into practical system enhancements, and build robust reports in Power BI to monitor adoption and program health.

Qualifications

Job description

• Administer and configure learning platforms, including learning objects, content structures, curricula, assignment logic, events, sessions, notifications, evaluations, security roles, and system updates
• Gather requirements, analyze workflows, and recommend system enhancements with business stakeholders and learning administrators
• Serve as primary point of contact for learning technology inquiries
• Triage help desk escalations, troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and coordinate with vendors and IT for resolution
• Perform quality control, data integrity audits, mass data loads, and gatekeeping of system standards
• Write test plans and conduct testing for enhancements, course rollouts, and quarterly platform releases
• Coordinate user acceptance testing with vendors and stakeholders
• Build and analyze reports on usage, adoption, compliance, and program health
• Turn learning technology data into recommendations
• Document processes and system configurations
• Create user guides and knowledge management collateral for training and onboarding
• Educate stakeholders and administrators on proper learning platform use to encourage adoption and utilization

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in HR technology, learning technology, business analysis, or a related field
• Hands‑on experience administering or supporting a modern SaaS learning or HR platform such as Cornerstone OnDemand, Degreed, or Workday, or a comparable platform
• Working knowledge of e-learning content standards including SCORM, AICC, and xAPI
• Knowledge of content management, curricula and assignment logic, notifications, and security or role-based permissions
• Experience building and interpreting reports
• Solid Excel proficiency
• Strong requirements gathering skills and ability to translate business needs into practical system solutions
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new applications, software, and tools
• Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Familiarity with SSO, data feeds, and content provider integrations
• Experience with mass data load tools or LMS audits at scale
