Job summary

Newark Rehabilitation in Newark, OH is seeking a Human Resources Manager to oversee all HR functions for our 145-bed skilled nursing facility. You will lead recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and employee relations to support our dedicated healthcare team.

Collaborate with leadership to ensure compliance with employment laws, develop staff training, and drive programs that improve engagement and retention in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Healthcare/long-term care HR experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Payroll/HRIS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment, hiring, and onboarding for staff.
• Manage employee relations and foster a positive workplace culture.
• Oversee payroll processing and maintain HR records.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, policies, and procedures.
• Coordinate training, in-services, and staff development.
• Serve as business partner to leadership.
