Job summary

Newark Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse – Long Term Care Facility to provide compassionate, patient-centered care to residents in our Newark, Ohio facility.

You will administer medications, perform wound care, develop individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team, assess residents’ needs, document progress, and help residents achieve optimal well-being in a fast-paced setting, while maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with residents,

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of Ohio.
• At least 1 year of experience in long term care or a related setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and various treatments
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, in collaboration with our interdisciplinary team
• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of residents' physical and emotional needs
• Implement interventions to address residents' care needs, including wound care, medication management, and rehabilitation therapies
• Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans
• Ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care, addressing their physical, emotional, and social needs
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care and progress
