Abbott Park, Illinois-based HR Coordinator role supporting the divisional candidate interview process and providing administrative HR support across compensation, benefits, recruitment, training, and employee relations programs.

The position involves coordinating high-volume interviews, managing travel and scheduling logistics, and ensuring a consistent candidate experience while adhering to compliance standards. 6-month contract with Abbott, a global healthcare leader.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Human Resources, Communications or related field.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Customer Service experience.
• 2 years of Administrative Assistant or HR Coordinator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule high volume candidate phone/on-site/digital interviews and meetings.
• Support division scheduling and understand site-specific logistics requirements.
• Manage calendar invitations, travel arrangements, transportation, and accommodations.
• Maintain consistent candidate experience using templates/file formats.
• Use systems of record (Workday, CTE Travel, GIS, CHS) per compliance.
• Monitor background checks and drug screenings.
• Process candidate expense reimbursement documents.
• Assist with relocation and sign-on bonus documentation for approval.
• Collaborate with recruitment team to deliver high-level service.
• Hit department KPIs and goals.
• Maintain high-level customer service with internal and external clients.
