Job summary

Textron Systems seeks an intern for Human Resources in New Orleans for a 10-week summer program. You will support the HR team with ongoing and new projects across centers of excellence, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to talent acquisition, development, and total rewards.

Ideal candidates are pursuing or have completed a bachelor’s degree in HR, with strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or have completed a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, using Microsoft suite applications.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Can work independently, learn new tasks, identify and solve problems, meets deadlines and show a strong self-motivation and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the HR team with ongoing and/or new projects and initiatives.
• Projects will support HR centers of excellence (talent acquisition, talent development, total rewards) or HR business partner work.
• Involvement in related business, meetings, and processes.
• Reporting on your experience at the completion of the intern assignment.
