The J.M. Smucker Company invites motivated students to join our Human Resources internship in Orrville, OH.

You will support employees and their families with HR policy questions, manage cases in our system, and assist with interview scheduling and candidate care in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. As an intern, you will gain exposure to all HR areas, identify root causes of issues, and develop professional skills through a structured mentorship and development program.

Qualifikationen

• Junior or Senior standing in HR or a related field.
• Strong time-management, communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and professionalism.

Aufgaben

• Prioritize and respond to employee requests using the case management system and assist others with opening, recording, processing, or closing cases.
• Serve as a resource for current and former Smucker employees, their families, applicants or contractors on HR policies and procedures.
• Make and strengthen connections across the company by aiding individuals in all areas of the organization.
• Analyze complex information to identify problems and root causes using system knowledge and prior case handling.
• Resolve or elevate issues and communicate resolutions to employees.
• Schedule interviews with candidates and coordinate timely scheduling and candidate care throughout the process.
• Partner with third-party vendors to administer Pre-Employment screening.
• Gain meaningful, translatable experience, relationship management, and professional development.
• Gain exposure to all areas of HR and select an area of interest to specialize and provide escalation assistance in.
