Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking motivated students for Human Resources internships. These programs offer hands-on experience across Talent Acquisition, People Analytics, and HR Business Partner areas, with a focus on professional growth and leadership exposure.

Interns engage in meaningful projects, interact with senior leaders, and participate in Huntington’s community activities. Successful candidates are curious, collaborative, and eager to learn about careers in Human Resources.

Qualifications

• High School graduate
• Enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate accredited University with at least one quarter/semester of school after the completion of the summer program.
• Demonstrated teamwork and leadership through extracurricular activities and/or work experience
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office® applications
• Course(s) of study applicable to the area of business
• Ability to maintain professional composure in a dynamic work environment that often requires management and completion of multiple tasks
• Demonstrate sound judgment and ability to apply logical/critical thought processes when developing solutions
• Ability to display a positive business presence with management and external personnel
• A strong interest in Banking as a career
• Relevant Majors: Human Capital Management, Human Resources, Psychology, general business degrees. Data degrees in the People Analytics space.
• Preferred Skills & Interests: Interest in general human resources, talent, and people analytics.
• Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)
