Job summary

Qualifications

• Desire to pursue a career in Human Resources in construction
• Ideal candidate will have previous work experience in an office environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage shifting priorities
• Detail oriented and thorough
• Works well as part of a team and with minimal supervision
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and ability to learn other software programs
• Must be authorized to work in the US; PCL will not sponsor an employment visa; 18 years of age or older
• Available to work in Denver, CO, full time from September to December
• Employment contingent upon passing a substance abuse test

Responsibilities

• Get exposure to the various areas of Human Resources including recruitment, workforce diversity, training, professional development, health & wellness, and HR special projects and general administrative functions
• Assist with research, coordination and administration of Human Resources programs and initiatives
• Support the implementation of corporate and regional initiatives
• Assist the HR team with planning and executing Denver District initiatives
• Compose and prepare confidential correspondence, reports, and other documentation
• Undertake research projects as needed
• Other duties as assigned
