Job summary

Gentherm Incorporated is offering a Human Resources Intern position in Novi, Michigan for a supervised summer program. The internship runs May 17, 2027 to August 6, 2027, with a cohort of 16 students and interactions with executive leaders through monthly learning sessions.

Interns complete a project related to department goals, gaining experiential learning that blends classroom knowledge with practical HR professional experience.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled and have finished their freshman year by the start of the internship program.
• Familiar with Microsoft products, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Able to be on-site minimum of 4 days a week at our facilities in Novi, Michigan.
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Labor Relations, or similar field.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Previous work experience in an office setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support talent development and compensation processes to help promote progression roles.
• Assist in creating materials for leaders on standard processes and communications tools.
• Collect and help standardize recognition activities across businesses.
• Duties may change at any time.
