Job summary

As an intern, you’ll complete a department project aligned with business goals, gain practical experience, and network through monthly sessions and events with leadership. This role emphasizes analytical skills, teamwork, and a proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled and finished freshman year by start of internship.
• Familiar with Microsoft products.
• Able to be on-site 4 days a week in Novi, MI.
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data proficiency.
• Proficiency in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support Corporate FP&A in monthly forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
• Collaborate with finance teams to collect, analyze, and consolidate data.
• Complete a finance automation/AI project to improve forecasting accuracy.
• Analyze forecast-to-actual variances and performance trends.
• Assist with finance transformation initiatives and planning systems.
• Perform ad hoc analyses and projects to support decision-making.
