Job summary

Charter Communications is offering a paid, 11‑week Human Resources internship in Stamford, CT. You'll join the Spectrum News HR team and collaborate with the intern cohort on department projects while receiving mentorship and professional development opportunities.

The program runs May 26 to August 6, 2027. You will gain exposure to recruiting, payroll, and employee lifecycle initiatives, with hands‑on experience and cross‑functional learning across Spectrum’s HR functions.

Qualifications

• Must be a Master's student with an expected graduation date of May 2028.
• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a Master's degree.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA in current program.
• Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship or restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Support the Spectrum News HR team as a strategic partner to newsroom leaders and a liaison across recruiting, finance, payroll and development.
• Assist onboarding and orientation activities for new hires; support learning & development; compile HR metrics; prepare reports using MS Office; research industry trends and best practices; provide administrative support for the HR team.
