Job summary

Plexus Corp. in Wisconsin is seeking an HR Intern to support the human resources team and gain insights into Plexus' industry, infrastructure and business during the assignment.

The internship offers hands-on experience in daily HR tasks, recruitment support, onboarding, I-9 compliance, and confidential handling of employee information, with an hourly rate of $20–$24 and an emphasis on development, inclusion and Equal Opportunity Employment.

Qualifications

• Currently a student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Junior level status is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with HR team to handle daily tasks, as well as assist in accomplishing long-term projects and implementation of HR initiatives
• Work closely with HR team to support employee relation activities including but not limited to: performance management, disciplinary actions, and investigations.
• Support recruitment activities such as: posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews and becoming familiar with applicant tracking systems.
• Assist in correspondence, research, and other HR matters under the direction and supervision of HR staff.
• Assist with day-to-day administration needs as required.
• Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing new hire packets and conducting orientation sessions as needed
• Assist with compliance-related tasks, such as maintaining I-9 forms and other employee documentation
• Additional duties as assigned by management.
