Job summary

Blain’s Farm & Fleet in Wisconsin is seeking an incoming junior or senior to join our HR internship program. You will learn HR operations, employee relations, and partnership across teams while contributing to real-world projects.

You will work with a mentor, gain hands-on experience, participate in workshops, and may access housing if traveling from out of town; compensation starts at $20.00/hour and varies by experience and location.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as an incoming Junior or Senior at an accredited college or university.
• Minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong communication, writing & time management skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to key HR projects that impact the business.
• Assist in strategic initiatives and mentorship opportunities.
• Engage in cross-functional teams to understand department processes.
• Support daily HR operations and tasks.
• Present findings to key stakeholders.
• Receive mentor and coaching to navigate career path.

Compensation

• Competitive base pay starting at $20.00/hr

Job Duties

Learn functionalities of Human Resources while gaining real world understanding of HR operations, employee relations & partnership

• Contribute to key projects:Work on real-world projects, making impactful contributions to the business
• Assist in Strategic Initiatives:Learn, develop, and implement ideas based off Blain's Pillars
• Engage in cross-functional teams:Collaborate with different functions to understand how cross functional support contributes to the overall success of the business
• Support Daily Operations:Assist the team with day-to-day task to gain insight on the departments process
• Present Your Findings:Deliver a presentation of your project and research to key stakeholders
• Receive mentor and coaching:Work closely with your mentor receiving feedback and guidance to help you navigate your career path
• Participate in hands-on workshops:Led by industry experts, gain valuable insights and skills to equip you for success in the professional world
