Job summary

Wilcox + Flegel Oil Co. is seeking a dynamic HR Generalist to support multiple HR disciplines in a fast-paced environment. The role covers workforce planning, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, DEI, training, safety compliance, and employee relations to maintain a positive workplace culture.

The position may be based out of Centralia or Longview (WA) with a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities within a supportive team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent combination of education and experience.
SHRM-CP or PHR certification encouraged or willingness to obtain within one year.

Responsibilities

Support workforce planning and organizational development to meet business needs.
Facilitate recruitment: postings, screening, interviews, onboarding.
Assist benefits programs, compensation analysis, and merit processes.
Develop and promote recognition programs to drive engagement.
Coordinate training sessions and track participation.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Support DEI initiatives and foster an inclusive workplace.
Handle basic team member inquiries and escalate complex matters.
Organize engagement activities and distribute engagement surveys.
