Job summary

Valley Hospital Medical Center is seeking an experienced HR professional to support employment, policy interpretation, employee relations, and compliance across the Valley Health System in Southern Nevada.

With a focus on recruitment for exempt and nonexempt roles, you will contribute to a compliant, efficient candidate process and an inclusive work environment. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required, with 5 years in HR managing diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, human resource management, administration, or other applicable degree program.
• Experience: Five years progressively responsible human resources management experience. Union environment preferable.
• Other: Demonstrated knowledge of Federal and State laws.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing employment, policy & procedure interpretation, day-to-day employee relations, and record-keeping/compliance for employee files.
• Responsible for recruitment and selection of exempt and nonexempt positions by developing effective recruitment strategies.
