Ortho Molecular Products in Stevens Point, WI is seeking an HR Generalist to support our 200+ member manufacturing facility. You will partner with employees and leaders to foster a high‑performing, employee‑focused culture, administering HR policies, onboarding, benefits, and HRIS processes.

This on-site role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm. The company offers health, dental, vision, HSA, 401(k) with match, PTO, holidays, life insurance, and development programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business is preferred.
• PHR or SHRM certification is desirable or in progress.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on HR policies to employees.
• Administer FMLA and other leave programs.
• Drive process improvements and ensure timely follow-up on HR matters.
• Explain benefits and assist with enrollment processes.
• Conduct new hire onboarding sessions and ensure policy understanding.
• Maintain confidential personnel records with discretion.
• Collaborate with leadership to support a positive HR culture.

HR Generalist

Are you a people-focused HR professional who enjoys building strong employee relationships, solving challenges, and contributing to a positive workplace culture? If so, we'd love to hear from you.

As an HR Generalist, you will play an important role in supporting our employees and business objectives at our growing manufacturing facility of more than 200 team members. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by partnering with employees and leaders, supporting key company programs, and helping foster a high-performing, engaged, and employee-focused culture.

This on-site role requires availability Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm in Stevens Point, WI. This is not a remote or hybrid opportunity.

• Serve as a trusted resource for employees by providing guidance on HR policies.


• Administering Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA).


• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure timely follow-up on HR related matters.


• Communicate employee benefits effectively and guide employees through benefit enrollment processes and requirements.


• Conduct new hire onboarding sessions, ensuring employees understand company policies, benefits and available resources.


• Maintain confidential personnel records with a high degree of professionalism and discretion.


• Build positive working relationships across the organization while serving as a visible, approachable member of the HR team.

What You Will Contribute

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Human Resources, Business, or related field; PHR or SHRM certification desired or in progress. Will consider an associate’s degree with applicable work experience.


• At least 3 years of experience working in a Human Resources capacity.


• Experience working for a manufacturing facility desired.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.


• Demonstrate high standards of diplomacy along with sound business judgement and relationship skills.


• Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills.


• Solid understanding of HR best practices and Federal & State labor laws.


• Character traits of Integrity, Honesty, Thoroughness, Trustworthiness, and diligence are essential.

Compensation And Benefits

• The salary range for this position is $56,000 -$66,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
