Job summary

Trident Technical College seeks an HR Generalist to provide support for the TTC Boeing Project, handling recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. The role partners with program managers and the TTC HR team to maintain policy consistency and timely issue resolution across the organization.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of HR generalist experience, a strong HR knowledge base, and SHRM certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field; or an associate degree in Human Resources or a related field with relevant work experience.
• SHRM Certification is preferred.
• 3–5 years HR generalist experience.
• Experience coordinating recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate HR functions with focus on compliance, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Provide guidance in recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, classification and compensation, and performance management.
• Interpret and apply federal and state laws, regulations, and institutional policies.
• Collaborate with TTC HR team to ensure consistency, fairness, and adherence to procedures.
• Conduct New Employee Orientation and assist onboarding to ensure a positive employee experience.
• Maintain accurate confidential records and ensure compliance with applicable laws and standards.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, and external partners.
• Support HR projects, audits, and process improvements to enhance organizational effectiveness.
