Job summary

Trident Technical College is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support the TTC Boeing Project. Responsibilities include recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and ensuring compliance.

You will work closely with the HR team and program managers to uphold policy, resolve issues, and promote a positive work environment in alignment with institutional goals. The ideal candidate will have a HR-related degree (or equivalent) and 3–5 years of HR generalist

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; or an associate degree with relevant work experience.
• Candidates currently enrolled in a related degree program may be considered based on education and experience.
• SHRM Certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate HR functions with focus on compliance, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Provide guidance in recruitment, onboarding, benefits, employee relations, and performance management.
• Interpret and apply federal/state HR laws, regulations, and institutional policies.
• Demonstrate independent decision-making while ensuring consistency and fairness.
• Conduct New Employee Orientation and assist onboarding to ensure positive experience.
• Maintain accurate records with confidentiality and legal compliance.
• Build effective relationships with employees, supervisors, and external partners.
• Analyze situations, exercise sound judgment, and make recommendations within authority.
• Demonstrate flexibility in a changing environment.
• Support HR projects, audits, and process improvements.
