Job summary

Great Dane is seeking an HR Generalist to support all HR functions, including staffing, HRIS, compensation/benefits, employee relations, talent management, and policy administration. The role focuses on compliance, process improvement, and partnering with local management on HR initiatives.

You will manage employee data, oversee benefits enrollment, assist with recruitment, and support engagement activities while ensuring adherence to applicable laws and company policies. Travel minimal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field with 2+ years of HRIS experience or equivalent
• 3 years progressive HR experience including employee relations and HRIS
• PHR/SPHR certification preferred
• Strong generalist experience and analytical skills
• Experience with applicant tracking systems and HRIS data reporting
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain employee databases and prepare HR reports
• Communicate HR policies and procedures with local management
• Conduct workplace investigations and advise on employment matters
• Assist with wage monitoring, promotions, and onboarding paperwork
• Manage benefits enrollment and leave requests
• Execute full-cycle recruiting and present qualified candidates to hiring managers
• Maintain HRIS data accuracy and organize personnel documentation
• Support employee relations and engagement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
• Support documentation for verifications, unemployment responses, and credentialing
