Job summary

The State of Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services is seeking an energetic HR professional to join the Human Resources team in Jefferson City. You will process payroll transactions, assist with hiring, respond to inquiries, and collaborate with program coordinators across the department.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

Process and track all personnel transactions for the assigned divisions of the department.
Assist hiring managers through the hiring process.
Prepare and maintain various reports and databases.
Answer phone calls and refer callers to the appropriate Program Coordinator.
Enter deductions and other payroll information
Assist employees and managers with payroll and benefit questions.
Assist in the onboarding process of new hires.
Post positions utilizing the HireTrue (MO Careers) platform.
Provide support to team members in various HR related topics.
Other duties as assigned.
