Job summary

DeWys Metal Solutions is seeking an HR Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, records management, and HRIS updates. The role collaborates with the HR team and covers multiple sites within a short radius, providing a friendly, responsive contact for team members.

The position emphasizes hands-on generalist work, with opportunities to grow into other HR functions based on strengths and background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of HR generalist experience.
• Experience in manufacturing is a plus.
• HR certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding: Coordinate and deliver onboarding for new team members.
• Records & Filing: Maintain accurate, current, and confidential team member files and HR documentation.
• Paylocity Updates: Enter and maintain team member data in Paylocity.
• Team Member Support: Answer benefits, policies, and HR questions.
• Multi-Site Support: Visit six locations monthly to support site teams.
• General HR Administration: Support recurring HR work and team leave coverage.
