Job summary

InteLogix is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support California employees and regional HR needs. The role covers employee relations, onboarding, policy implementation, and performance management in a remote environment.

Strong knowledge of CA wage/hour laws, CFRA/PDL, PAGA exposure, and confidentiality is required. Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field plus 5+ years of HR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
• Experience supporting CA employees with CA wage/hour rules (overtime, meal/rest, final pay).
• CFRA/PDL leave, PAGA exposure, and California-specific compliance knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.

• Assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; maintain employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
• Handle employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing.
• Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings/seminars.
• Maintain HRIS records and compile reports from the database.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
• Support performance management processes, including disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans.
• Conduct HR investigations and provide recommendations.

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR management in supporting designated geographic regions with a primary focus in California. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, affirmative action and employment law compliance.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or relevant experience.

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
• 5+ years of HR generalist experience supporting California employees, including working knowledge of CA wage and hour rules (meal/rest periods, overtime, final pay), CFRA/PDL leave, PAGA exposure, and California-specific compliance.
• Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with HRIS systems.
