Job summary

InteLogix is seeking a remote HR Generalist to support diverse California-focused HR programs across multiple states. The role partners with senior management to drive employee relations, onboarding, policy implementation and compliance.

You will manage HRIS records, assist in performance management, and conduct investigations while maintaining confidentiality. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of generalist HR experience, including CA-specific rules, are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
• Experience supporting California employees and CA wage-hour rules.
• Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

• Handle employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing.

• Support performance management processes, including disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans.
• Conduct HR investigations as needed and provide appropriate recommendations.

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR management in supporting designated geographic regions with a primary focus in California. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, affirmative action and employment law compliance.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or relevant experience.

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
• 5+ years of HR generalist experience supporting California employees, including working knowledge of CA wage and hour rules (meal/rest periods, overtime, final pay), CFRA/PDL leave, PAGA exposure, and California-specific compliance.
• Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with HRIS systems.
